Trinette and Tony’s Sandpoint winter engagement pictures
I am so excited to share this post on my blog today. I love this Sandpoint winter engagement pictures shoot. I had so much fun with this adorable couple, Trinette and Tony! It was 22 degrees outside but from the pictures you can’t tell, I think they managed to keep each other warm:) Winter engagement shoots are so beautiful. The snow makes the perfect bounce light for the photographs. Most couples want spring, summer and fall engagements, so I was thrilled when they requested Sandpoint winter engagement pictures.
Some tips on getting the best Sandpoint winter engagement pictures
When getting your engagement pictures done in the winter time with snow on the ground you will want to keep in mind a few things first.
1. wear pops of color like red and blue, something other than white to give the picture contrast. If you wear white the pictures will look a bit bland because you will blend right in;)
2. Take pictures in an area that have different contrasting backgrounds (not just snow for miles) Having trees, rocks or objects of interest will make your pictures stand out more!!
3. Dress for the weather! This is important. If it is snowing outside you will want to wear clothes that reflect what season it is. Your pictures might look a bit silly if you decide to go with a short sleeve shirt, or a mini skirt on such a cold day. Not to mention that my camera will pick up every little goose bump on you and is a nightmare to photoshop all those images. Dress in layers. Bring different outfits and I will help you choose a couple;)
